Meet Our Team: Service Tech’s Reggie Phillips

At Service Tech, we’ve been making a difference in the heating & cooling industry for over 30 years, and we believe that our people are a big part of that. Our dedicated team members are driven to provide top-rated work, and top-quality service and Reggie Phillips could be one of our best examples. A Birmingham native, Reggie is one of our go-to guys in the warehouse, and his 18 years of experience with us makes him an invaluable asset to our team.

Heating & Cooling: A Day in the Life

Reggie joined the Service Tech family in 2005. After many long and stressful days at a local scrap yard, he decided it was time for a change, and he’s been with us ever since. 

Reggie describes his day-to-day as, “lots of driving” and can make up to 8 or 9 stops a day making sure every Service Tech team member has what they need to get the job done. He’s the Service Tech muscle guy, from dropping off and picking up equipment and parts, to lending a helping hand to the technicians on-location, Reggie is ready for whatever the job throws his way.

Since he began at Service Tech, Reggie notes that he’s much happier with the work/life balance, and truly enjoys working with his team, saying, “Everybody’s pretty much like family.”

Family Life

Proudly married for over 10 years, Reggie says that he’s, “just a cool old guy”, and when he’s not manning the bar-be-que, he enjoys spending time with his family, most particularly his grandson. Reggie describes his proudest accomplishment as his grandson coming into his life and loves every second he gets to be with him. 

When he has the time, Reggie enjoys visiting the more rural areas around the country, and is drawn to those simpler pleasures in life, saying, “I love going down there, cause you got anything you want down there.”
